22 inch Diamond Cut Range Rover Alloy Wheel Repair

range-rover-alloy-wheel-repairAt Diamond Alloys we are proud of the finish we achieve on wheel refurbishments, our commitment to quality and service is always paramount.

Take a look at these 22” Range Rover alloys which were damaged around the centre of the alloy as well as scratched on the edges, a common problem sustained when parking too close to kerbs. Not only is this unsightly but it can also compromise the protective lacquer layer allowing water to seep in which encourages corrosion. This might sound like a disaster and expensive to replace which is why so many people are now trusting alloy wheel repair companies like Diamond Alloys to refurbish their rims at a much cheaper cost.

range-rover-alloy-wheel-refurbishmentThese rims were Diamond Cut with painted grey inserts, an attractive finish which accentuates the design of the alloy and is a beautiful finishing touch to the car which is in keeping with the original OEM finish.

If your rims need a bit of love and attention, then pop down to Diamond Alloys West London; we are just off the A40 at Target Roundabout, and we will give you some good advice and a great quote!

Diamond Alloys Repairs and Refurbishes Rotiform Wheels

IMG_8981At Diamond Alloys we can repair and refurbish wheels from 10” all the way up to 22” in size, catering for your everyday alloy wheels through to limited edition and classic car wheels for customers to keep their pride and joy looking pristine.

This week we were given a rare treat when a Golf customer came in with a damaged Rotiform wheel. Rotiform designs and build the finest cast and custom forged wheels for cars which are highly sought after and particularly fashionable for younger drivers. Focusing on style, strength, and aggressive fitment, Rotiform Wheels are the crowning glory on your automobile and so deserve the best when it comes to a refurbishment, which would cost considerably less than buying new.

Our customer had damaged only one of his wheels and so our technicians had to ensure a good colour match and finish was achieved to match with the other rims. They had sustained outer edge damage and we completed a full diamond cut refurbishment to bring them back to their former glory.

Lovingly Restored Mini Alloy Wheels

IMG_2338Take a look at these repaired rims and you will see how a diamond cut refurbishment can make the car look complete. When the car first arrived for inspection at Diamond Alloys all four wheels were buckled and one of them also required welding.

This mini has had its wheels lovingly restored by our team. The stunning petal design was brought to life by contrasting a black painted finish with a diamond cut face. This is one of the beauties of a diamond cut finish as it really accentuates the design of the wheel.

The shape of the wheel on this diamond cut required the lathe operator to cut them twice, once on the outer rim and once on the internal spokes. By cutting the edge the technician was able to eradicate the large amount of damage the rims had sustained around the rims.

IMG_2333When customer Jim Pelton picked up his mini he said “I’m very pleased with the final finish, they look brand new once again!”

If you have scuffed or damaged alloy wheels you don’t necessarily have to buy new. An alloy wheel repair or refurbishment can bring the rims back to life and save you money too. Remember, have all 4 wheels repaired at the same time and save even more money!

A Modern and Efficient Alloy Wheel Repair Workshop

IMG_6790At Diamond Alloys we are proud to have a modern and efficient alloy wheel repair centre. In fact one of the most common comments we get from customers is how clean our workshop is! This is part of an ongoing commitment to being the best in the industry!

To give clients confidence we regularly post pictures of our guys at work on facebook, twitter and now Instagram, highlighting that the range of services we offer are carried out by us on site and not farmed out to other companies. IMG_6739We can offer an alloy wheel Diamond Cutting service on site in addition to a high spec powder coat service as standard on all wheels. All rims are stripped back in acid before a thorough clean in our aqublast machine. The rims are then carefully prepped before the powdercoat is applied. After the colour is applied or the Diamond Cut is made the rims receive a layer of protective lacquer to ensure they have a long life looking in tip top condition.

If you have scuffed alloy wheels and need a repair, we offer a discount when you have all 4 wheels repaired at the same time. Call our guys and they’ll be able to advise the best finish for your wheels, even if you just want to upgrade their look. Call us on 0845 370 8881 or email us direct.

Diamond Alloys is on Instagram!

instagram-logoAt Diamond Alloys we think it is important that you know how good the finish is on the alloy wheels we repair and refurbish and so we have just launched our Diamond Alloys Instagram page to showcase some of the best wheels we have refurbished.

Not all repair centres offer a full refurbishment by stripping back the wheel, repairing damage before painting or diamond cutting. For a truly stunning finish we think this process is essential and short cuts should never be taken, which is why we don’t offer a smart repair service and do like to share pictures.

We will also share some short film clips to highlight some of the many processes we offer at Diamond Alloys including Diamond Cutting alloys wheels, standard painted refurbishments, bespoke finishes, wheel straightening and alloy welding. Have a sneak peek at some of our latest snaps here.

Refurbishing Porsche Boxster Alloy Wheels

IMG_6225Customer Nick Hebditch bought his Porsche Boxster a year ago and unfortunately scratched the alloy wheels. As such he wanted to restore his rims back to the original colour and condition to keep it looking in pristine condition.

Our task was to repair the damage and refurbish the alloy to achieve a finish like new. Our skilled technicians also had to colour match the alloys perfectly ensuring no-one could spot any damaged had ever taken place.

For a flawless finish we sand blasted all of the damage and then powder coated the rims before applying a standard painted finish, which we believe is the best way to restore alloy wheels. We took three days to refurbish the wheels and our customer was very happy with the results.  Take a look at the before and after pictures and you’ll see what an amazing transformation an alloy wheel refurbishment can make.

All Wheels Get a ‘Club Class’ Treatment at Diamond Alloys

IMG_6286Trade Account Club Class Carriages brought us their customers Bentley GT 19” alloys for a standard painted refurbishment.

They are a new trade account for Diamond Alloys and we are delighted they have selected us to look after this Bentley which is a new addition for their fleet.

The car is almost brand new, however because they are a specialist high end chauffeur company their cars must be pristine at all times and so when a small scuff is sustained a refurbishment is called for.

We don’t take short cuts on our wheel repairs and so these alloys were dipped at the start of the process ensuring all dirt, damage and break dust was removed.

We are delighted that the job was well received and this new trade customer will be sending over the rest of his fleet when repairs are required. Check out our gallery above and see how we transformed the scuffed alloys to a beautiful finish any customer would be delighted to receive.

Investing in New Alloy Wheel Repair Technology and Equipment

machine-breathe-rightAt Diamond Alloys we are continually evaluating our equipment to ensure we have the latest state of the art technology to produce the best finish for your alloy wheels alongside the quickest turnaround. We are proud to announce that yet another piece of painting equipment has been added to our spacious and well equipped alloy wheel refurbishment centre.

The Breatherite and Wheel booth is primarily used for localised extraction of paint and fume particles. The polluted air is extracted via a specific suction head and directed into the suction hose and into the filter unit. Here, the particles are collected. The clean air passes the fan and returns into the room via the exhaust grid at the back of the unit.

What does this mean to our customers? Simply to improve the turnaround time on individual wheel refurbishment to ensure your alloys and car are back on the road in the shortest time possible, something which we know is important to our cleints.
