Collection and Delivery Service

IMG_2859-3Did you know we have a collection and delivery service? We know it is not always possible for you to drop off your wheels to us, and if you are trade this is virtually impossible, which is why we offer a collection and delivery service.

We have also just invested in a new, larger van, enabling us to accommodate more capacity as we grow and expand.

If you can’t remove the alloys yourself, don’t worry you can drop off your car and we’ll do it for you. Diamond Alloys is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm and Saturday mornings, 8am to 12pm, enabling you to drop or collect your alloys before or after work, or at the weekend. We are located close to the Central line, so conveniently placed for you to continue your journey.

Diamond Cutting Alloy Wheels – Getting the Job Done Properly!

diamond-cut-alloy-wheelBeware of companies that offer a price that seems too good to be true…..usually it is because it is too good to be true!

Less reputable companies might cut corners to give the impression they are offering a great deal, but it may mean that you don’t get the quality or the longevity you want for your alloy wheels. All our Diamond Cuts are refurbished in house at our state of the art facility in West London and we don’t cut corners.

What we DON’T Do

  • We don’t offer a patch up service
  • We don’t offer smart repairs

  • We don’t send our work to another company to get the job completed

What we DO

  • Wheels are all stripped back to the bare metal
  • We use the latest powdercoat paint technology
  • We  use modern state of the art machinery
  • We paint the entire wheel, not just the face which will mean the alloy is fully protected and the finish will last longer
  • Our wheels are all finished with a high quality lacquer
  • Our work comes with a 12 month guarantee
  • All our prices are listed on-line
  • All our prices include wheel balancing, tyre removal and re-fitting FREE
  • We don’t charge for parking your car
  • Quotations and advice is FREE!

We are so dedicated to offering you a great service and a set of wheels that look brilliant that we offer a discount if you get all 4 wheels refurbished at the same time.

Diamond Alloys Wheel Repair

IMG_0094-2The guys at Diamond Alloys are always busy! Take a look at our gallery and you’ll see our guys hard at work in the prep workshop. After alloys have been dipped in acid and blasted to remove all paint and corrosion they pass through our prep room where each wheel is carefully inspected. Depending on the damage sustained, scratches and kerbing damage is filled and sanded before being powder coated to ensure a sound surface is achieved for our painters or diamond cut technicians.

This careful attention to detail is why we are trusted by top end car dealerships and bodyshop repair centres to refurbish all their wheels and why we get such great feedback.

If your wheels are looking damaged or scuffed you can save pounds by having them repaired compared to buying new. Call us on 0845 370 8881 or click here for a quotation.

How to Avoid Wheel Corrosion

One of the biggest dangers to your alloys is actually ever-present on the car. Brake dust, which is fragments of brake pad that are detached by abrasion, is largely made up of iron particles that, when heated, can embed themselves in the wheel paint and lead to contact corrosion. The longer it’s attached the more damage it does, so quick action and constant maintenance are key. Here’s a quick guide to ensuring your alloys are dust-free.

How to clean your wheels
You need to clean your alloys weekly for best results. Start off by rinsing the wheels with water, before moving on to more specialist steps. Your next move is to spray the wheels with an acid-free rim cleaner, leave this for a few minutes and then clean the area with a sponge.  Wash off the residue with water, and dry the wheels with chamois leather. Remember to only use soft fabrics and sponges to avoid scratching your wheels – there’s no point going to all this trouble just to damage your alloys in a different way!

General care tips

  • Only use standard polishes on light alloy wheels with a glossy finish
  • Never use polish on light alloy wheels with a matt finish
  • Never use chrome polish or cleaners
  • Seal your rims with liquid wax after washing
  • Deal with damage as soon as it happens
  • If you’re uncertain about how to repair damage, don’t attempt it by yourself. Call experts such as Diamond Alloys on 0845 370 8881, who will be able to provide advice and assistance to get your alloys sparkling like new.

A Modern and Efficient Alloy Wheel Repair Workshop

IMG_6790At Diamond Alloys we are proud to have a modern and efficient alloy wheel repair centre. In fact one of the most common comments we get from customers is how clean our workshop is! This is part of an ongoing commitment to being the best in the industry!

To give clients confidence we regularly post pictures of our guys at work on facebook, twitter and now Instagram, highlighting that the range of services we offer are carried out by us on site and not farmed out to other companies. This means we can maintain quality and offer both trade and consumers a speedy service too.

Take a look at our latest gallery of images from our workshop!

IMG_6739We can offer an alloy wheel Diamond Cutting service on site in addition to a high spec powder coat service as standard on all wheels. All rims are stripped back in acid before a thorough clean in our aqublast machine. The rims are then carefully prepped before the powdercoat is applied. After the colour is applied or the Diamond Cut is made the rims receive a layer of protective lacquer to ensure they have a long life looking in tip top condition.

If you have scuffed alloy wheels and need a repair, we offer a discount when you have all 4 wheels repaired at the same time. Call our guys and they’ll be able to advise the best finish for your wheels, even if you just want to upgrade their look. Call us on 0845 370 8881 or email us direct.

Diamond Alloys is on Instagram!

instagram-logoAt Diamond Alloys we think it is important that you know how good the finish is on the alloy wheels we repair and refurbish and so we have just launched our Diamond Alloys Instagram page to showcase some of the best wheels we have refurbished.

Not all repair centres offer a full refurbishment by stripping back the wheel, repairing damage before painting or diamond cutting. For a truly stunning finish we think this process is essential and short cuts should never be taken, which is why we don’t offer a smart repair service and do like to share pictures.

We will also share some short film clips to highlight some of the many processes we offer at Diamond Alloys including Diamond Cutting alloys wheels, standard painted refurbishments, bespoke finishes, wheel straightening and alloy welding. Have a sneak peek at some of our latest snaps here.

Investing in New Alloy Wheel Repair Technology and Equipment

machine-breathe-rightAt Diamond Alloys we are continually evaluating our equipment to ensure we have the latest state of the art technology to produce the best finish for your alloy wheels alongside the quickest turnaround. We are proud to announce that yet another piece of painting equipment has been added to our spacious and well equipped alloy wheel refurbishment centre.

The Breatherite and Wheel booth is primarily used for localised extraction of paint and fume particles. The polluted air is extracted via a specific suction head and directed into the suction hose and into the filter unit. Here, the particles are collected. The clean air passes the fan and returns into the room via the exhaust grid at the back of the unit.

What does this mean to our customers? Simply to improve the turnaround time on individual wheel refurbishment to ensure your alloys and car are back on the road in the shortest time possible, something which we know is important to our cleints.

The Diamond Alloys Team on Show!

diamond-alloys-car-show-event10

The guys at Diamond Alloys work very hard to get wheels in and turned around quickly….but we do let them out of the workshop sometimes, and last weekend saw a few of the guys pop down to The Auto Show to show off some of our brilliant alloy wheel refurbishments. The event is run by The Rotary Club of Uxbridge to raise money for the Rotary Club of Uxbridge charities.

The weather turned out to be brilliant which resulted in a turnout which was excellent with people coming through the gates steadily throughout the day.

The Diamond Alloys stand was well visited with plenty of people asking questions about the range of finishes we can offer taking the promotional flyers on the day.

Check out the pictures we took at the Auto Show and make a mark in the diary to come along to this wonderful event next year; we’ll certainly book again and look forward to welcoming everyone.

If your car needs a spruce up, then you don’t have to wait til next year, pop down to our West London workshop and we’ll give you a quote on the spot. Alternatively call us on 0845 370 8881 today.

Triumph Stag Wheels get a Dazzling Diamond Cut Refurbishment

diamond-alloys-corrosion-refurbishment-triumphAt Diamond Alloys we deal with both consumer and trade alloy wheel repairs.

This week a trade customer approached us with a request to refurbish some 14 inch Triumph Stag wheels.

These rims were in a sad state of repair with extensive corrosion around the face which is caused when water; especially salt water, is allowed to seep underneath the protective lacquer layer. This can happen if the lacquer is compromised by hitting a kerb or from stone chips. If left untreated the corrosion will cotinine to eat away at the metal.

The alloys were placed in our acid bath which removes the corrosion before they are prepped by hand and powder coated to give our painters a smooth base before applying the gloss black paint. A diamond cut reveals the beautiful patter of these Stag wheels before a lacquer is added for protection for the elements.
