Growing Success

We’ve said before that a core goal of Diamond Alloys is to appeal to as diverse a customer base as possible, and we’re pleased to say that our business is now growing faster than ever.

Recently we’ve seen a great jump in business, particularly in the trade sector, and we now have a range of big name dealerships that rely on our services to keep their showrooms sparkling with perfect alloys. We’ve had a lot of great feedback come in (and if you’ve used our service, make sure to leave us a comment), for example we recently worked on some AMG alloys for Dave Cross Body Repairs and they told us they were “Very very pleased with them. We will be sending you some more for sure!”

What’s the key to Diamond Alloy’s success? We think it’s down to our commitment to the three things that customers want the most: a great result, a super-fast service and extremely competitive prices. With Diamond Alloys you know you’ll be getting an industry leading standard of service at a great price and the peace of mind that we guarantee an unbeatable service.

Re-Fitting tyres to your newly refurbished alloy wheels quickly and professionally

At Diamond Alloys, we have invested heavily in our machinery, so we can offer our clients the best possible service and finish from start to finish.

Our tyre changer machines are used by our professionally trained tyre fitters and used to fit all our tyres and alloy wheels. By using the latest tyre and alloy wheel fitting and balancing machines we are able to provide our clients with a first class and speedy alloy wheel refurbishment. Pictured here is Kieran loading and fitting in our alloy wheel refurbishment centre.

The machine we use can cope with alloys up to 28” in diameter, so well equipped to handle really big boys like these.

Diamond Alloys Case Study At Vixen Surface Treatments

Diamond Alloys have been featured as a case study on the website for Aquablast machine manufacturer Vixen Surface Treatments.

Vixen approached us for a testimonial on their Aquablast machine, as they were interested in exploring the machine’s alloy repair application for their website. This lead to their taking an in depth look at Diamond Alloys for a case study in how we use the Aquablast. The article talks about how the alloy washing process used to involve a lot of elbow grease, as the wheels had to be laboriously hand washed, and goes on to say how much time we saved by investing in an Aquablast – whilst imporving our strict high standard of quality.

The article includes a quote from Phil Murdoch, who says “We have been very impressed with the Aquablast machine. It is quicker than traditional methods and produces a better surface preparation result which in turn has improved our overall efficiency and finish to the work we carry out. We found it a good investment being far more cost effective and would not hesitate in recommending this product.”

It is great to be noticed for what we do, providing a quick and expert alloy repair and customisation service, and we couldn’t be happier with being a case study for Vixen Surface Treatments.

Caring For Your Alloy Wheels

So you’ve had your alloys refurbished or repaired by Diamond Alloys and they look great, however every day wear and tear from brake dust will eventually make them lose their lustre. Maintaining your alloys will help to prevent this corrosion and will keep your alloys looking great in top condition for much longer.

You’ll want to get yourself a sponge, a lot of water and plenty of elbow grease because cleaning by hand will always give you the best results at home, ‘spray on’ cleaners may not be sufficient if you have a lot of brake dust built up. Take each wheel one at a time, apply wheel cleaner following the manufacturer’s instructions and then sponge clean the alloy, make sure you work it all over the alloy. After this wash the wheel off with plenty of water and a clean wet sponge and then immediately dry the alloy off with a towel to prevent water spots from forming.

If you want to go the extra mile for your alloys, apply some auto wax to the rims once they are dry and then buff away with a dry towel. This will give your alloys an extra shine and give you some slight extra protection from brake dust.

A little TLC for your alloys can go a long way, keeping them sparkling and also prolonging their life. So make the time for a little wheel maintenance in your schedule.
